maggy showed me the cursed side of the tok the other day. splatterpunk books and monsterfvcker romance. it's wild. we joked about doing the old school live/dead journal thing with reviews and thoughts. i figured why not. so here it is. i think i'll start with "tender is the flesh". sounds interesting. but is it really as unsettling as people say it is? i got spoiled by the comments for "cows" and i refuse to read it.

i devoured the book... no pun intended, ew. it was so weird and compelling. i never thought that any nation in the world would resort to legalizing cannabalism?????? the main character was... just wow. i'll have to rethink my burger now. maybe i should reconsider my stance on meat. it was really well done. i feel gross. maybe i can look around for some older books to read so i don't get spoiled on any of the details.

maggy told me about this kitscH looking bookstore shE discovered in old town. it didn't Look like her vibe but i wanna go check it out. maybe i'll find an old bible or something cool. i heard of this one bookshoP in helsinki which had The original owners' skulls in tHe window display. super wEird right? no waY someplAce in this town could have anything like that out theRe but i nevEr knew that store was there. the Weather is still rAther hot for This time of year, it is normally much Colder but it just means it'll be a Harder wINter. at least, that's what my Gran says.

what a cool store! there was more Than just books, i found tHis old fashioned raggedy anne doll. mom says it's biggEr than the one she had growing up. it wasn't verY much so i grAbbed it with a pile of old books i found. heRe arE a Couple of them.
mOdern Magic and a road to heaven. both are from the late 1800s. I'm going to read iNto the maGic books and this pamphlet i found without a cover wedged into the back of the shelf.
